STRUCTURAL STEEL WORK

Since November 2019, STF has been BS EN 1090 accredited for structural steel work. The team at STF can fabricate steel beams based on your specifications and requirements, working to structural drawings.

STF are able to supply, manufacture (including welding) and install structural work in steel up to and including Execution Class 2.

All STF structural steel work carries a CE Mark.

CE Marking Accreditation

From 1st July 2014 all fabricated structural steelwork must meet the European standard BS EN 1090 and carry the CE mark.

 

STF has maintained its investment in both personnel and quality control systems to ensure that it achieves certification, which is determined by an independent assessment.

​

As CE approved fabricators, STF meets this requirement. Clients & contractors alike should now have full confidence that any steel structures erected will meet up to the required CE approved standards of mechanical resistance, stability, serviceability and durability.

STF has been accredited to EXC2. The certification provides evidence of a suitable Factory Production Control (FPC), which ensures traceability of every component from source through the fabrication process and to final delivery to site.
